completely gutted about sat past lads - only setting in now after a rough couple of days!! LOL think we deserved at least a point from the game but had enough chances at 3-2 to kill the game off and we paid the price conceeding two sloppy goals late on! would have been a massive 3 points for us. BUT lets not over-react to the defeat. plenty of positives and we need to stick together, plenty of football left to be played. after next sat we will have played both bway and connor twice and away games out of road vs michelin and shore. so it all about keepin in touch. all teams round us have to start playin each other sooner or later. i still think it is strange we have yet to play two teams once in the league this season but yet have played 2 of our main rivals twice. STRANGE.....................
anyway all the best to connor for rest of season. nice wee rivalry with the michelin seems to be brewing LOL

im sure the seven towers boys will be bitterly disapponited they never got something out of this game, because in all fairness they had the chances to finish us off at 3-2. but the last 10 mins was MOSTLY connor, had a few chances to put it to bed ourselves with marriot missing an open net...how he missed i dont know lol i have been reading that the michelin boys said that the result on saturday suited them better. well i think the seven towers players will tell u different. 4 of our players were away to london to watch the chelsea match and the whole 4 of them start for us . we had 12 players, and some players went to dormans and got FULLLLL on the friday night as they though the match would be off in the morning... NAMING NO NAMES LOL so id say seven towers are kicking there selves even more because tthey know if there was a time that they could have beaten us...and to be fair they maybe should of, was on saturday there when we were down to the bare bones but im delighted we got the 3 points, just shows that we have the players to come in and do a job the same as the rest...well done lads ;D and another thing....i was running with the ball on saturday and the michelin players were shouting get into that c**t So by the looks of things michelin v connor will be must see match but all the best again to seven towers, ull be the pacesetters as well..some great players

and another thing....i was running with the ball on saturday and the michelin players were shouting get into that c**t what a load of balls Darren , I said to somebody after your 2nd goal when you beat about 3 or 4 men that you should have been hit a proper tackle. If thats what you think is 'get into that c**t' then you need your ears tested. Maybe it was the drink ye had on friday night

Darren i can guarantee you that no one from the mich camp would have called anybody a c**t on saturday. Whoever told ye that darren has been spinning ye tales. In fact i cant even remember anybody from the mich line shouting at all at any players playing. A draw wouldve been a better result for us, but id rather connor won than towers cause your a few points behing. Plenty more games left in season anyway!

It's rather obvious why Michelin would have considered a Connor win the better result than the reverse as Connor have shipped more points than Towers so that brings a few more off Towers, don't think that represents any form of disrespect to Connor from the Michelin lads, it's just common sense IMO. Both 7 Towers and Connor, along with Michelin and a hanful of other teams are considerably strong teams and will always be wary of playing each other!!!
The rest of us know Michelin are the league favourites, defo pressure on them to live up to it, eh Mitty.... LOL...

Im glad somebody else seen the sense in my thinking behind that ;D Certainly wasnt any disrespect towards towards the Connor lads, I had many of my finest years in the BSML for Demense so would never even disrespect a struggling team never mind a team challenging for honours. Must of been the 1st time ever that a team has took it bad that another team actually wanted them to win ;D Make no mistake about it though, when your playing any other team outside the top 6 in the 2nd division I shall be wanting you to get hammered, just as I want to see Broadway, 7 towers, Shore, etc to get beat too
