Long way to go. Lots of games left although i'm suprised we've played so many at this stage so have 8 games left.
Don't think it's unfair to say it's a 3 horse race and most likely the games against each other will be critical. Looking forward to getting to play at Dunloy, supposed to be a really good pitch and set-up.

Dunloy are having an unbelievably great season, it is only the seven points they are behind Westend. Monty has felt sorry for them and gave us two weeks off, otherwise the best present they could hope for from santa would be a nice cosy second spot. Westend have the best midfield in the league and most versatile Westends David Currie just scored his 150th club goal in 144 club games, shortly followed by his 151,152 and 153 westend have 7 league clean sheets this season Westend are the only team to have beaten Dunloy this season. The league is not decided on goal difference but head to head Westend are unbeaten in 14 league games, winning 12 Form - last 5 games Westend are top of the league To talk about Dunloy like they are going to win this league is optimistic to say the least |

Rab time will tell who's feeling sorry for who something tells me ul be eating ur words,dunloy cant help it if they keep gettin away games that r called off westend have the Best midfield in the league u say,its a matter of opinion but think ul find out ur wrong ;D and as for currie scored his 150th league goal(thats some knocking at any level)how many has he this year??think dunloy's wee striker has 23 or that in 9 games or something like that fair enough use did beat dunloy but be honest use got them in there 1st game with half a team and were 3 nil up after half and hour or something they totally played use off the park in the 2nd half and came back to 3 each and there only looked to b 1 winner until the dunloy keeper threw 1 into the net to give use the win but i cant wait to watch the return leg in dunloy and then we'll see who's the best team in the league... Just for the record dunloys last 10 games 57 GOALS SCORED 9 CONCEDED glad monty was feeling sorry for them as u said or they only have 70 goals scored with there games in hand  |

I do not think any of the players involved need anymore encouragement or motivation, the league is there for the taking. For westend, the next games against inver/lisnafillan/steadfast/woodside/cullybackey/cloughmills/randalstown are as equally important as the dunloy game
btw that was a beauty of a last minute winner I scored against Dunloy, keeper had no chance

Yeah all games are important hope use dont drop anymore silly points,if memory use drew 4-4 each with wakehurst and 0-0 with demense think dunloy only beat them 9-1 and 10-0 away from home KEEPER HAD NO CHANCE GOOD 1 Think if i remember right it was a wet nite and he drove on top of it and it scooted in below...definate goal of the season contender |

Alright Big Basil, I play upfront, though in that dunloy game I moved back a bit and nutmegged a few midfielders (My old gaffer stan will tell ye, he was standing watching, licking his lips) then I went back upfront again, set davie currie up with a chest assist. I hit a shot from outside the box that hit the bit behind the crossbar that holds the net up, I was away celebrating, turns out it went over  scored the winner with a few minutes to go, turned on a six pense, drilled it past your keeper, he had no chance, then I signalled to the manager to take me off, deserved a round of applause. You remember me? white 5ft 10, athletic build, brown hair, sweats like hell? |

I know all about it, I missed the two games afterwards when a Dunloy defender came right through me, we scored from the free kick, It happens alot, defenders being to eager to get the ball and make stupid fouls and We score from the free kick. we have great dead ball specialists But Dunloy are not a dirty team sir, definately not the team we played that time |

Yeah rab would have to agree with u there we're definately not a dirty team(mayb a couple of hot heads among us but sure thats not a bad then) we gave a few silly fouls away that nite and paid the pen,we were shocking bad that 1st nite if im honest think we were tryin to hard to impress and ended up getting tanked but think we've learned a good bit from that 1st nite and as ul see we're a different team now
Looking forward to playin use but its not a 2 horse race by any means but if we keep winning and use keep winning it'll make a good end to the year,as long as the 2 of us keep winning they should keep our game to the end of the season would be a great end to the season but theres alot of points to play for b4 then
