Hook? - He needs a right hook to that baldy heed.

:onow now lads u cant go around dissing referee's I can honestly say that we have also been on the wrong end of some dubious hook decisions in the past, like every other ref thats ever took charge of any of our games. Even on saturday, and i understand why the larne lads were upset with a couple decisions, but as i said in an earlier post, knowing hook doesnt take any talking back, im amazed how no 6 of st comgalls stayed on. He must have warned him 4 or 5 times and usually 2 warnings from hook then your off. The point about hook and ally being best buds, although they were big buddies when they played together years ago, and im sure are still friendly, they run about in very different circles now!

sent off 4 patting someone on the head!!!!! good one. as 4 the two tackles from tommy i would have gave him 10 games!!!!!!! reall lads they werent that bad. slightly late with the second one but not a sending off for sure. as 4 the ref yous got every bit as much as us. yous might have got even more had number 6 knew when to speak and when to listen. lucky he didnt see red himself. having said all that was a good game i thought. well done both teams. o and well done hook.

Not strictly true as your 2 goals came from pretty soft free kicks (the first 1 in particular was absurd) and the 2nd goal came from a goal kick that was the most ridiculous decision i've seen in a while as all your players went back to defend the corner and the player who kicked it out cursed himself for not putting it out for a throw but the ref gave a goal kick. Also as for the 2nd half fight back, didn't really happen, 2 set pieces that we should've defended better but we had 4 or five excellent chances that we should've scored from. So a disappointing and frustrating result but a point away to the top of the table side isn't too bad.

All this nonsense about the number 6 should have been sent off. One foul got a yellow card and the rest of the incidents were simply talking to the ref without abusing him so why would he give a red for that. We should have won - we didnt. The ref was partially responsible for that because if he hadnt given the favourable free kicks you would not have scored if you were still playing. Your team must have something to be top of the league but you didnt show it on Saturday.

I didnt say you deserved to get sent off bap! I said with knowing hook and with the amount of times he spoke 2 you im suprised you werent sent off, but i know you musnt have cursed at him or you defintely would have been sent off! We certainly didnt show any kind of performance to prove we were title challanges on saturday, except for maybe gaining a point when we maybe didnt deserve it, but for 70 minutes, along with the blackstone game, it was our most disappointhng performance of season. Anyways, just you boys keep those kinda performancs up against the other challanging teams!

Is this why Hook is so confrontational? He thinks he's a hard man?

Beat 2- 1 last night but we were by far the better team.......................................................................................... nah we were poor!. Very few games i think we deserved to drop points in this year, but this was one. Just werent good enough for most the game. In saying that we missed an open net with nearly the last kick of game, but if we'd have scored we'd have stole the point.
Alot has been said about the size of our squad this year, but in all honesty if we hadnt signed those 4 or 5 players, we couldnt have fulfilled last nights fixture and Id imagine we wouldnt be able to for this Saturday either. Brought 14 players up to Larne last night and had to use all 3 subs for injuries, two of who will likely be out for rest of season. I know every club gets injuries, and at this time of year nearly every player is playing through injuries as well, but by f**k were getting her tight. LAst night we were also missing, IMO, our best 2 players this season in Leroy and Mark McKeown.
Anyway well played st comgalls last night, thoroughly deserved the 3 points.

Who got hurt last night Mitts? Leroy and Mark back for saturday? Last nite wee Alex (our Bulgarian striker who we've waited all season to get fit cause he's a surer wee player) pulled his hammy after 10mins, big Brian wrecked his ankle and Sammys just wrecked after 3 games in 5days after 6 months out. Leroy should be back but Mckeown will be very doubtful. Leaves us with no left back, if mckeown doesnt make it then none of our 4 centre halfs are fit. We do have two fit right backs though Really is a struggle at minute but sure thats the joy of the BSML!

Got down for the second half. Done the line for 10 minutes while the normal lad went for a poo or something. There was a few crosses you just wernt to sure about catching Mitty. ;D Dont let anyone else claim they can toe poke a ball better than you.
