Well lads today we finally got to play te top team in the saturday morning league and I thought we did ok against them.
Beat 5-0 but there are a lot of positives to come out of that today and in no way is 5-0 a disgrace seeing as it was 3-0 until the last 15 and we lost our keeper and as I had used our subs we went to 10 men,
We went out today and tried to play our normal game and maybe I could have went out and defended but we went with our normal formation and had a go.
As I said lots of positives and we will build on this today.

PS Carniny are just a different class and some of the passing and moving today was a sheer joy to behold and the 3rd goal that resulted in Mo getting a header was as good of football Ive seen in a long long time.
Well done Carniny and they are a bunch of great lads.

Greene mate if we dont go on and build on the great performances we put in yesterday then we deserve feck all this season. If that doesnt drive us on in the belief that we are a decent wee squad then nothing will.

Herbert you not going to give the wee swifts a wee bit of credit after all your the lad who was laughing saying if we kept it below 6 and it would be a good result...
Away onto your own section you big gulpin or maybe the swifts is the section you really wana be part of lol

A forums all about opinions. Exactly!!!!! IMO Carniny are the better team and have a better squad. Do agree though that Homers struggle too often to maintain the same first team but on players signed, for me, it's Carniny!! |
