I tried that years ago Pele, can't work with them at all. My eyes are that f**ked up I have to get them specially made (the lenses that is lol) and they cost about double the price of the normal ones!!! When I got the claim in last March I went to get lazer surgery and, low and behold, they wouldn't do it as my eyes are too complicated and they won't operate on them. It took Specsavers 3 times to get my new glasses even close to right, they aren't 100% even now but I just said "aye, that will do" so they didn't send them away for another week lol. Hardly ever wear them now just squint for everything!!!  plus you didnt like people comparing you to benny hill ;D  LOL< that's closer to the whole truth!!! HURE!! |

Your not the only one with bad eye sight Fish. Mines fooked aswell. Got glasses and hardly ever wear them..lol Why was your game off Pele? LOL, it's bad craic. Were you playing on saturday. If you were within 10 yards of me I might have seen ye!!! ;D I only wear mine now for me driving lessons as it would be totally illegal for me to be behind the wheel without them. I nearly have to park the car and get out to walk right over to a sign to see what it says!!! lol... ;D |

Also, what's the craic with young Sammy McVicor, is he just playing BSML?? He was coming on really well out at Ballymoney when I was there. Good wee player!!! Never got a chat with him as I left after I came off. No point standing watching clouds floating about the place!!! lol...

Firstly, well done Connor. Played some super football and deserved the win.... Now that's out of the way.... Darren, you could do with winding the neck in a bit. On here slabbering about me. Again I'll ask you to point me in the direction of the post where I stated I was a super player. You won't find one. As for me lasting 45 minutes, I asked to come off well before that. Not because of fitness or anything else. Every person on that pitch struggled at times to see what was going on so I'm not ashamed to say that I wasn't in the game at all as a result of my eye sight. I'm partcially blind and do well to see what's going on on a normal day never mind that pishe yesterday. I will say that, although Connor played some great football, we were playing effectivley with ten men while I was on hense why I was asking to come off, I was useless to the team. All the nonsense between me and you Darren was, on my part, winding up and if you go back over all the posts I stated that there would be nothing personal with the Connor team. There was no Fish Darren Battle that you speak of and to come on here and basically say I'm s**te is taking things abit far. Be under no illusions mate, if it's a battle you're after you're going the right way about it with the slabbering. Again, I understand a bit of banter after a great win against my team but you're getting carried away towards me. If there is something you want to take up with me just tell me a time and a place and I will let you continue!! Honestly, if that is your way of joking and you are only winding me up then honestly, I apologise, I may be taking you up wrong as to me you're on here mouthing about me. Again if that's not the case then I'll apologise, just let me know!!! As for Connor's ability in the league, well the football speaks for itself. To be honest, I'm very surprised at the results so far if that's the Connor team every game!!!! It seemed to played in the right spirit and the players around me, mainly defenders, seemed like good lads. The left back who went off injured picking me up off the ground after a shot I hit. Darren, not a bad player but not the best of the bunch. Some really good players on the team. I couldn't see any of the goals but the man who apparently scored 5 must be some player. I'll just finish by saying well done to Connor, how you've dropped so many points I don't know and good luck for the rest of the season, and secondly to Darren, just knock the personal stuff on the head. It was a good and deserved win for which you should be pleased!!!!! Wow wow wow Fish. LOL I have not came out with any personal stuff about you or anyone associated with u  I stated that u had a stinker and went off after 45 mins, and that i was disappointed in u after all the slagging and banter you had giving me in these forums. which if u go back and read the posts you'll find thats all i wrote. If your upset about me saying that youd of been better going away with ur girlfriend for the weekend instead. That was only a bit of a slagging joke/banter there was no intent to be personal in that watsoever, so if thats wat is bothering you just tell me and ill be the first to apolizage As ive said before this forum is full of banter. And im not one to be making any personal jokes about anyone  But back to the football. On saturday there i had a poor first half and so did my fella other centre midfielder darren trainor as we never got a lot of the ball because Broadway were right in on top of us everytime we got the ball. BTW YOUR NUMBER 10 IS YOUR BEST PLAYER BY A MILE But as for the 2nd half i dont think Fish saw the 2nd half and to quote on how i played over the whole game after watching watching the first half i dont think you can really justify what type of player i am as i had a great second half i thought  Because if thats the way it was, after your performance in the first half FISH alot of people im sure would have a very different opinion on what type of player you are ya know wat i mean? Although i did say u werent a great player after the first half and maybe i should wait to see you in a full game to judge  So i take that back and will apolizage for that. But hey never did i say i was the best player at Connor football club as there are a whole host of players at connor who i would say are better than me . Our number 6 is called jamie white and he was brilliant for us on saturday super player, and our forward up front is our new Signing mark marriot which will help us for the rest of the season I came on here and done alot of winding up after our game with broadway as there was a whole lot of people on here hoping broadway would beat us so they could get a good slag at me ;D You included fish u have to admit so thats why i was over the top in my posts after our game was just glad to get the win. Broadway will be right up there at the end of the season no doubt, very pyhscial side and can play football too. I just hope we can push on from this win and maintain til the rest of the season. Good luck broadway Ps: And as far as the "fish v darren battle" goes...You know fine rightly if use of beat us ud of came on these forums and gave me a bit of slagging...Its only natural ;D But hey its only banter and i think everyone knows that But once again good luck for the season broadway and fish too  |

LOL, good man catching my point about you being not the best player even though I couldn't see ye!! haha....
Connor did well on the day and Broadway were terrible. You said a few weeks ago that some day things would just go right for yous in front of goal and in the first half they seemed to, although my strike partner was going daft at the defending for some of them. It was awful, I just kept getting the ball for a center and every time asked him "what happened this time". I hadn't a clue lol.
No doubt if the score was the other way round you'd have been expecting some jip from my self but unfortunately not this time!!
I did take the chic away, we just rushed home on saturday morning from the hotel to be there. Wish I'd stayed now!!! lol...

connor are 1 of the best teams ive played in a while!! they deserved there win. we were absolutley terrrible, thats not an excuse!! we chased shadows for 30 mins in the 1st half!! played a bit better 2nd!! thought darren from kells was v gd along with the other centre mid the right mid and mariot . hopefully be different story the next time we meet but we have now played shore michelin 7 towers and connor and have only 3 points out of these games which isnt gud enough  all the best for the season lads, until of course we meet again A few clean holes at Connor after that post!! Get him a form shem!!! ;D ;D |
