I think giving Marriott abuse for missing 2 penalties is a f**king disgrace - that guy has pulled Connor out of many a hole this year - you wouldnt even be promoted without him.
Have to agree with a few other boys Big Norton and Sandsy are absolute gents - dirty hures mind you, but gents none the less

Never been so gutted over a match in my life. Thought at 2-1 we were on our way to the league and then they get a scrappy goal and we just didn't have the legs to respond. Thought we really missed Sandsy and Darren T. today in the middle of the park along side Campbell. After hitting the post, bar and having one cleared off the line it just felt like it wasn't going to be our day, but we will come back stronger from this and hopefully make a good fist of it in the First next year, and wee trophy on Wednesday night would help make up for today, but only slightly.

At 2-1 you's looked comfortable for a while in the second half but I kept saying that just having the 1 goal lead was dangerous due to Broadway only needing a draw. Well done Broadway, best team we've played this year...and I suppose the law of averages meant a Celtic had to win something this year   |

Watched the game today,
Thought it was a pretty even game, if Marrioy would of scored the penalty it would of been game over imo, in saying that Chesneybhoy could of finished it and missed a siiterr and thought fish did well when he came on.
From watching that game today although alot of people might not agree with me, i thought Darren Campbell was superb and stood out, along with Ally McIlroy out the left for Connor and it was harsh on them to lose.

whoa taribo I think you were watching a different game to me. Although in pains me to say Campbell is a while good footballer but I thought he struggled to get into the game today bar a few decent runs, and Im sure he would probably say that himself. IMO, judged on todays game I thought Brian Maybin was IMO man of match. He gave big Norty a while hard time in the air and I know good Norty is in the air as in 2 years at Mich norty along with maybe Ricey dealt will Froggy the best ive seen anybody play him, and he was awesome in the air. Fairplay to both teams today' was a great advert of bsml football

P Johnny it bobbled right b4 i hit it, hench me throwing myself to the ground when hit hit my laces instead of side foot, but i dont care m8 we won the league and wat a feeling lol |

I vot Ricky Hanna was outstanding for connor today when he came on his passing and movement, we couldnt keep up with it, for bout 10 mins they passed the ball round us and he was centre of everything. the ref was a joke though, use connor bhoys musta been happy with him lol ;D

;D :oi was saying to big mitty at 2-1 they needed a 3rd cause i always seeb bway getting a 2nd and connor couldnt get it. And as Ronaldo is a good friend of mine i thought he was very good yesterday along with young Jamie White on the right! but broadway did their job with michael and fusco at centre half, they kept mario quiet enough. and donald rarely left darrens side! brian led the line super. he is brilliant in the air for a boy tht is quite small! agnew done well. but all an all, great finish to the season! the 2nd has been great this year. lets just hope 7towers can go up via the playoffs |

I'll tell you this now, if it wasn't for Marriott Connor wouldn't have been anywhere near us this season. That man should be an absolute hero out there and tbh I think he generally is. The only person I heard slabber about him was Ronaldo. Big Norton had to tell him off!!!
I wasn't dissappointed at them not staying out to applaud us. The people that mattered were there to celebrate with us. The players, management, supporters, you just couldn't beat it with Gordy's stick haha.
Norton really surprised me this season, didn't know there was a player in him (I'm sure there have been a few LOL). Great big player and also a true gent. Fair play Norton, I actually felt sorry for him but I soon shook that off and knocked back a lot of Champers!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol.
Marriott may have missed a pen, yes, but had he not scored his goals this year he wouldn't have been in the position to miss a costly one yesterday. I think EVERYONE except for possibly one, will agree with me on that.

I can honestly say Darren if we had lost yesterday it would have broke our hearts too. It's only natural!!! I would defo have offered you my congratulations and you'll notice none of us are really rubbing yer nose in it. Maybe a few people gave you a piece of their mind yesterday but nothing too much.
The game could really have went either way but both had great chances. I was one on one and, even though I'm a fat mess now, there wouldn't have been too many people on our sideline who would have expected anything other than a goal and it should have been! LOL...
Was a great run in and the banter has been fantastic too. I'm just so glad I'm on the winning side as I'd probably have had to delete my account otherwise, I couldn't have listened to you!!! hahaha...

Lol awk naw if wed of won that league title yesterday, id of bee a hard boy to listen to, only because everyone was against me...all through my own doing of course but hey i wouldnt of changed the way i got on all year for the world lol but naw i didnt come across saying marriot cost us the season, i think u even know i didnt mean it like that fish LOL i simply said the penalty miss proved costly yesterday in the match because we ended up not getting a 3rd goal i could never fault marriot, than man has been outstanding..id love to see him play an irish league match i really would...him and chris dowie would score some goals between them in a season if they played upfront together  but wedn's cup final is bigger than ever now, need to bring a trophy home to kells |
