Start this years Junior Shield with a trip to FC Ballynure Reserves who play in the Ballymena & Provincial Junior Division 2. Havent a clue about these boys but im sure everyone will enjoy a wee break away from the league and hopefully get a win which will set up a home tie in the 2nd round. Mon the Connor  |

3-1 win yesterday, played well but they weren't a great side to be honest. 1 nil down at half time playin against the wind and we created a few of our own chances and i always thought we would come out the second half and push on for the win which we did, despite going down to 10 men.
That referee was awful yesterday, booked 2 of our players for divin when they were, in my opinion, blatant pens, and then gave us a pen which probably wasn't lol. And the red card was a joke too, neither challenge was worth a booking! I know the most of the refs in our league are great, but i pity afternoon teams if he was anythin to go by!

was it the ref with no teeth norton ;D remember him from that afternoon league? i seem to remember him offering and 17/18 yr old player fair digs after the match  had you not played those boys in the past norton? was that not the team you broke the fellas ankle from  |

Na it was some young boy, never seen him before! And yes, i do remember him, he was a real good ref too ;D lol
And i don't think oit was that team, but there's that many bloody Ballynure/Ballyclare teams in the afternoon that its hard to know which one is which!

After putting out a strong Valley Rangers side in Round 2 we now travel to Tollymore Swifts from the Belfast & District Premier League in Round 3. Dont know anything about these boys so looking forward to it |

After a great win on Saturday we get another wee break from the league this week with the Junior Shield, looking forward to it! Missing a couple but also a couple to come back in that were missing on Saturday so hopefully we'll be strong enough and can make it into the last 32 of the competition!
Hopefully we can get a chance to train this week too lol!

Due till Tollymore Swifts Junior Cup match being called off last Saturday they have to get it played this Saturday which now leaves us with no game this week.
I'd imagine we will travel to them next week.. Maybe some o the boys who was at training can confirm this?:-D

You could come out watch a top class match on saturday morning from 2 top quality teams in your division this week then... ....or if you wish you can come out and watch Clough v Ahoghill |

Haha if you read earlier posts you would realise the game is off big man  My relationship with the manager is strictly on a professional basis, whereas i've seen you trying to lock your young players in the shower with you after sentry hill ;D And we all know it was you who tried to rob the atm in Ahoghill in the early hours of this morning so expect a visit from the police anytime ;D |
