Not overly surprised, thought he would have been given slightly longer but it seemed only a matter of time. He'l always be remembered for the good work he done for NI but after the way he left us I dont have much sympathy for him.

I'd welcome Lawrie back in a flash. I'm not surprised that he was sacked by Fulham, as his record at the club was pretty dire. Anyway, I wonder what's to become of the NI players he brought in, ie Healy, Davis, Hughes and Baird?

How could you possibly accept him back after the way he left us? Better opportunity or not he shafted us!

have to agree Jeff, Sanchez made his bed so he can lie in it as far as i'm concerned. he walked out on his country when they had the greatest chance in qualifying for a tournament for over 20 years. Great opportunity at Fulham my balls, always going to be relegation fodder!
I for 1 would be disappointed if the IFA even considered Sanchez after the way he treated OWC.
As for the GAWA representatives at Fulham, Davis, Hughes and Healy should be fine. Just don't think Baird can cut it in the Premiership so i wouldn't be surprised if he got shipped out by the new manager.
