yes but the manager said my name first there were 14 superstars out there today, it's all about how we play as a team and that was absolutely brilliant.

Delighted for you lads! Great win and if you keep that up the league is there for the taking! Had hoped to make it to training this week but my rib is f**ked. Hurt it 2 weeks ago at 5 a side. Thought it was just bruised but its sorer than ever after work last night. I reckon it could be cracked or fractured. Nothing I can do but rest it now for a while.

Westend played Dunloy off the park on sat! could of and should really scored more goals in the first half, was expecting more from a hyped up side! great result that needs to be followed up by winning the league now!

I just noticed the goal difference there (as i always look at the table Monty emails round). I didnt realise we had a better goal difference than dunloy as well. I know we started banging them in recently but i had (foolishly!!) assumed they were well out in front with goals scored.

Arnie I thought you might have lost a few brain cells after you took a thunderbolt of a shot square in the face on sat but they still seem intact, there was a bit of a wooble, it reminded me of this

Just wanted to pop in and say well done on saturday lads, played a high intensity game and definately wanted it more than we did, a well deserved 3 points, im sure you are quietly content with the result as you have been mainly written off all season despite being top of the league, i hope we can get to play against you again in one of the cups so we can give a better account of ourselves... again well done, and good luck for the rest of the season.

Appreciate your comments! I'm sure we will meet in the Sammy Moore at some point, not that we ever do well in it! I'm not quite sure why everyone has written us off this season considering our form. Maybe cause we've always been the nearly men in the past! Not this year..

Far too early still to predict anything, if Dunloy had won we would wouldn't have written ourselves off so I can't see them, or Cullybackey for that matter, giving up just yet. To assume anything would be insulting to the teams we still have to play. We took Demense for granted away from home and it cost us, since then we have focused on every game and given each team the respect they deserve, pride comes before a fall they say!

We have 6 very hard games ahead: Cloughmills, Lisnafillan, Inver, Randelstown @ home, Cullybackey, Steadfast @ away. We have given ourselves more room to breathe up there, it looks good at the moment. I am under no illusion that every single one of those games will be hard as hell to win

The teams below us have played their games in hand and have won, keping the pressure on ourselves. I see we play Steadfast on 20th Feb, lets hope they can get a team

Me too, i want another 6 points before i leave. With Dunloy to play Cullybackey i'm hoping this is enough to assure automatic promotion

the league title could be decided tonight if Westend beat Cloughmills and if Dunloy fail to beat Cullybackey.
