Next three fixtures are home to demense, away to Steadfast and away to Cloughmills...surely if we harbour any intentions of winning the league we must take 9 points out of 9 or at least 7 out of 9. It'll not be an easy task by any means but hopefully we can put Saturday's bad performance and result behind us and move on. Come on the wee Connor Rangers

Another 3 points last night which puts us just outside the play off positions with still a number of games in hand so lets keep it up and push on for the rest of the season.
A good win last night made all the sweeter by Tommy's red card ;D hahaha
Away to Cloughmills on saturday will be another tough one!

Your Number 7 should of walked aswell Tommy. 2 or 3 rash tackles then any decision against use he was always swearing at the ref and questioning his decision.

7 points from 9, not too bad but were 1 minute away from 9 points from 9!

I was over and watched this stewartie and the 2 goals you'se scored should have won any match but for about 25 mins in the second half you cuda been 3 or 4 down. Good game to watch and nice to put a few faces to the names on here.

Totally agree Stan.
We weren't good today at all, and probably didn't deserve anything out of the game, but when we got into the lead its gutting that we haven't been able to hold out for the last 5 minutes, especially when a win would have seen us uo into the play offs with still a couple of games in hand!
But a point is a point at the end of the day!

The 2nd goal I think it was was a fooking peach of a goal as was the 1st. Load of lads down from Atheltico Antrim and I enjoyed the craic. Entertaining football and a draw aint a bad result against a good Cloughmills squad.

Dont think we deserved to win the game but nevertheless it was a bit annoying conceeding the equaliser with a minute to go. At the end of the day, as you say, its a good battling point against a very accomplished Cloughmills team.
O and Daryl Coyle's goal (our second) was unreal! Now onto wedenesday night, away to westend. Dont think i've ever played against westend in my saturday morning league "career"

3 points dropped against a Westend team who never looked like scoring all night. 4 very soft goals giving away from Connor.
Must when our next 3 league games after dropping points tonight

3-3 With Blackstone tonight. We were 2 up at half time thanks to goals from Norton and Barry Simpson but really let our foot of the pedal in the second half and fair played to Blackstone who took advantage and went 3-2 up. We pushed and pushed for an equaliser with Norton hitting the post and Kyle missing header from a corner. Really looked like it wasnt going to be our day but we finally got the equaliser with 7 mins to go. Was a good enough game which was failry contested (until the final second) throughout! Good luck to Blackstone, maybe see you's in the playoffs if we buck our ideas up

Won 3 nil mate. Relatively straight forward match. Should have been more, we missed chance after after chance...I should know I missed most of them ;D Goals from Kyle, Rossy and I'm claiming the first one which hit of my leg, they all count

No mate it wasn't played, council called it off after 2, dunno why, the pitch was fine on saturday morning! Disappointing as we were gettin a good run of games there!

Heavy rain on Monday Norton caused a few games to be called off that night and with your pitch being the way it is the rain from Monday was probably enough to call your pitch off for a fortnight

Good result last night, puts us right back in the hunt. Two home games against Cullybackey and Westend which could basically make or break our season. Lets hope the weather changes!

I reckon 6 points should be enough to confirm a play off spot although 3 of them 6 points must come against either Lisnafillan or Westend.

Was as good win last night, coming from a goal down, i thought we dominated the last half hour or so, after a poor first half and start to the second (from me especially). We started to play a bit of football and were able to put their back four under the sort of pressure we'd failed to in the first half and Coyle and Stewartie caused them all sorts of problems.
Think that maybe takes us into 5th with still a couple of games on the others in the play offs.
Two home games coming up on Saturday and Monday against Cullybackey and Westend respectively...so if the game is on on Saturday morning you can forget the game on Monday night ;D

Norty I was out and watched the game last night(from the comfort of my motor). You got it spot on mate and it cuda been 5 or 6 at the end but you'se made it hard work for an hour or so. You still have a few home games left to play and the forecast aint looking great...do you think you'l get all your games in before the end of the season.
