The game should never have been played in the first place, thats true. And the ref wasn't good at all, he was awful, but he didn't deserve some of the stuff that was being said to him. I believe, and if i'm wrong i'll apologise, he has put in his report about the sectarian abuse he was on the receiving end of. Your captain also threatened to hit him several times and had to be pulled back by 2 or 3 of your players. Both teams had to play on the pitch, and having had the referee on a number of occasions this season we've learned not to open our mouths to him because as he tells both teams at the start of the game if you do you'll be booked. Definitely wrong mate. Not one thing was said about sectarianism, not a peep. neither was the ref threatened. I can assure you if you new who our captain was and he his back ground, i can assure yo he made no threats to hit anyone. The ref was looking a reaction but to many of our players are to long in the tooth to give him any excuse to report us. Hence why he sunk to the new lows. Should not be allowed to ref another game.

Sounds like the ref we had in a game against Woodside a couple of weeks ago. Doesn'allow you to speak at all. Probably only about 30, dark hair and a real chip on his shoulder. Seemed quite pally with the Woodside lads at half time. Thankfully we scraped a 2-1 victory despite some crazy decisions. Thats him, young fella, big chip on his shoulder. A complete cock. Can see him getting hurt or decked if he continues to be like that, with his attitude, he`ll get the wrong player on the wrong day, and to be honest, hes not the person you would just deck. you would want to kick the living f**k out of him. That how hateful the little twat is.

The game should nver have been played in the first place. Our second player was sent out off for asking the ref to abandon the game because it was unsafe. One decision lead to theother and for our own plyaers saftey we walked over. We were on top in the game and were in contol and had no other reason to walk off.
Anyway. We will still get promoted.

Well there's obviously not going to be any agreement here, as i don't think you's were on top of the game. I know i'm fed up talking about it with everyone asking, so we may as well leave it and wait and see what the league decides

I'm not sure of his name to be honest, i think it might be abraham, from antrim?! Shore had him against Randalstown Athletic - worst ref i have ever seen, we had 8 boys booked, 2 sent off and not one bad challenge all match. He also gave them a penalty with 5 minutes to go and even some of the Randalstown boys told him he was wrong A total clown

Just heard back from the meeting there now I'm told we got the 3 points St Comgalls got a £100 fine and are also to go up in front of the Co. Antrim FA Also when we're on the subject of the meeting we signed Mervyn Crawford from Randalstown Sky Blues. Super signing for us and hopefully he'll be able to play a few games when the midweeks come in! Good to have you back mate ;D

Just heard back from the meeting there now I'm told we got the 3 points St Comgalls got a £100 fine and are also to go up in front of the Co. Antrim FA Yip thats correct. And by all accounts the referee didnt do himself any favours. I believe he will never referee another St.Comgalls game again. We accepted long before the meeting that we wouldnt get the points which we could live with, and the fine also. However its more to do with what will happen in front of the Co. Antrim Com. But from the out come of the league meeting, we basically have the support of the league in this matter. Also wee thank you to Connor Rangers who confirmed that there was not a peep of racist/sectarian words mentioned that day. Showed the referee to be the lying toerag he really is. Incidently the last team to walk off, when this guy was reffing were called St. Lukes. Draw your own conclusions. But as said at the meeting and before, the decision to walk off was for the players saftey and nothing else. However, at the rate it was going the game would have been abanded anyway. What surprised the committee that evening was when they heard we walked off when the score was nil nil and not getting beat. For the benefit of any of your other teams that have to suffer this ref, please be weary of his lies and incompetence (sp).

Same ref who put a letter in to the league asking for sponsorship for a jump he is doing for charity, somebody piped up "off a cliff". I think Braid United have a wee bit of history with this ref also and he will never ref a Braid game again either.
