beat 3.2 after controlling most of the game 2.0 up with 20 mins to play really not good enough lads if we want promotion this year need to start putting are chances away and killing teams off. well done again young foster 2 goals and a great performance once again

good to see Foster geting a few games and scoring goals.
Any truth in that Beggsy is leaving you for a 1st Division team?

no truth in it whatsoever as far as i know. he had a good game up front with young foster. would be a big loss to the club if he did we want to keep all are players for the push for promotion

Now that Junior has taken over at Penerol I heard that mentioned aswell. All I can say is that Rod is a Lisnfillan Swifts player he was 1 of my 1st ever signings back when we started in 2003 and he is a vital piece of our jigsaw...

Mark Foster has been brilliant for us the 3 games he has played and really on another day he cuda scored 4 or 5. He's enjoying the Swifts and long may it continue because he is a super lad and good craic

s**t one that. He'll be a big loss for us but I suppose we managed ok while he was away for a year there. We have plenty of capable players at the club so we'll be grand.
Pissed off I've missed so many games this season but I'm available for this Saturday so looking forward to being there whether that be as a player or cheerleader lol.

Yeah he'l be a loss but as you say mate we did ok last season and for 10 games this season while he was away on international duty lol. I wish Rod all the best with his new club. I have a great TEAM at my disposal now and theres competition for places all over the park so some people are gona get miffed by team selections etc but thats what its all about and the lads who are starting every week know they have to keep the level of their game up on a sat. Next sat in the cup game if its on il make a few changes from yesterday-nothing to do with the result might I add but merely trying to give everyone a game before the midweeks to get them used to the system and help with fitness etc.

Yeah Cujo too right mate hopefully get revenge on sat. We've added to the squad lately and to be honest I cant wait to see Square getting a game or 2 under his belt cause to be honest from what ive seen he is quality tho match fitness will only come with games. Dale can slot in there and we have Greg and Trev who are the 1st choice at the minute but with these other lads breathing down their necks nothing can be taken for granted. This sat we again have a couple of guys missing but hopefully the main 1 back in Simon who is just class. Wee McKinley is back too and he has great pace which is something I know scares defenders.
Great squad we have at the swifts but we need to buckle down and as I said before putting teams to bed when are 2 up is our main priority cause we have thrown away too many games from that position.

Yeah true young cujo my man, it was rather a funny ending looking back on it but less said the better eh. Simons goal just summed up what he is all about and it was a fooking belter.
We do the hard things well its just about time we started doing the simple things in football better.

Was down and watched the first half of this on sat mornin there and you's had a couple of good chances to go in front and were unlucky not to be up a goal or 2 by that stage! Dunno how the 2nd went so can't comment lol
The wee number 6 in the middle of the park looked like he cud play a bit, although he is small lol. And the big fella up front looked like a big strong chap too!

Aye wee No6 is Dale he is just brilliant and altho small he's not shy as most who he marks will declare lol. Big fella up front was prob Simon Murray and in my mind he is just the best his strenght is second to none and he likes a goal or 3 lol. Got a great wee squad at Lisnfillan with a good team spirit...we just need to get to training and buckle down and we'll do alright.

Dale is a brilliant lad and a crackin footballer, he has youth on his side too. Simon Murray is a class act, big a strong, a great protector of the ball and has a great left foot, I wish I could of played more up front with him over the last few seasons tried to get a partnership going proper, maybe get a full season next season! Who knows
I'm planning to come back for 4 Saturdays, 28th march, 4th April, 11th April and 18th April so I'll be available for selection for the games on those days plus any midweek games that might fall in that period. So hopefully I can do my bit still this season
