Looking forward to it myself. Was at the pitch on Tuesday night and it was in great nick. Only problem is that I need to russle up some players who havent yet signed, then play them.....  ;D |

Penerol 1 - 5 Waveney Swifts
Waveney dominated the majority of this game, and played some very good football at times. Fair play to Penerol, who were playing quite a lot of young players, they never gave up, and also played some good football at times.
Good luck to Penerol players for rest of season.

cheers pele. Game played in the correct manner. Lack of experience cost us. Thought the referee was excellent on Sat except for the 2 decisions for the penalties. Thought we had a great shout for hand ball but didnt think yours was a penalty. But sometime that happens.
Played a 15 year old and a 16 year old up front so we were always going to struggle to score. But I agree the whole team tried til the end.

I think that lack of experience is going to cost you all season Bremner. Some wee lads are cracking players, with good touches, and in a few years will probably be playing higher league, but just not old enough yet i think!
Will agree, think our penalty was a bad decision, as it was probably the best tackle of the game in my opinion, but the one you said shouldve been a penalty truthfully could've went either way in my opinion.
Good result for us, since we were still missing a few players, but the lads playing at the minute are "stepping up to the plate" and playing very well!!

But I agree the whole team tried til the end. not having a go at all brem, but you need to watch who you play (or who you tell people you are playing) 15 year olds aren't allowed to play, infact you are breaking a major Co Antrim FA and IFA law under child protection, and your club could be severly reprimanded for doing so. |

BFP just out of interest, can you point me in the direction of such law. IF you are correct then England have different rules with regards to age limits as they allow under 16's to play. You are saying that even in junior football under 15's are not to play in an under 17 team!  Is it not as long as the club follows the correct procedures ie getting parental consent etc then it is ok for them to play. Also if this is the case should the league be vetting all signed forms to ensure no under 16's are signed? I'm sure there are other teams out there in the same position. |

it was announced by monte at the first meeting this year, thats why this years forms have the date of birth on them. it should be vetted, so i'd say monte will be saying to penarol about it.
its just senior level u15s cant play. when i say senior i dont mean irish league etc, i mean age wise.

aw right thats ok Bummer I was only asking calm down... You seem to think Im the w****r lol but its you who ruins every club you touch.
You havent been able to field a team who had a load of players last season and have had to pay 2 fines because your unable to do so.
I can only go on what I hear mate, I wouldnt say anything just to stir honestly. I could say more but il refrain from doing so.

I agree Penerol do have a good pedigree and its a shame the way things are going at the club. I dont know whether its to do with you comming in to the club or not but you werent able to get training pre season and the other tuesday night you couldnt train either coz we were on balle straight after you so if im lying there go chat to the lad up at the shed in ballee. As far as stupid rumours go I can only say what I am being told and I have got my information from a few VERY good sources.
I really hope Penerol dont succumb to league discipline proceedures coz as you say they have a good reputation. As far as not having a big squad this season you knew you were getting the post as manager in April so you should have had a plan in place as to new players etc.
At Lisnafillan I pride myself in actually starting up the team with my cousin whom I think you know. If Lisnafillan achieve half the things penerol have before you joined them Il be delighted. I wish you best for the season I really do... but time will tell.

all league forms are vetted and any 1 who has signed ne1 under 16 has had their forms returned to them and told that the players cannot play until they turn 16!!
