Would have to say on till the 2nd div league championship trophy is handed over to Randalstown F C the season will not be complete, and then it will really sink in just what Randalstown F C have achieved. They say to win a league Championship you need a big squad we used 28 players this season

hope it wasnt 28 on the pitch at one time brian hahaha. well done lads. super effort this year. when it looked like ballykeel wer going to storm away with it, u boys knuckled down and showed great character especially in the last few games. Special mention to the legend who must be over the moon with the title coming back to randalstown and brian who has work tirelessly this year. Cant wait for the big derby matches next season and hope the yas can battle it out along with the blues for the 1st division title. Penarol won the 2nd, then the 1st the next year, castletown won the 2nd and are battling for the 1st this year. will history repeat itself and the legend grab the 1st division title. I would say he'd be the 1st manager to win the 3rd, 2nd and 1st. we'll allow u boys 2nd place behind us.

Well done Randalstown Reds.
We've played yous many times, with us winning most ;D seriously though. To win the second is some feat, and credit to yous.
You obviously have some very good players on board.
Well done, on what had undoubtedly been an outstanding season.

Would just like to congratulate the reds on a fantastic victory. i was a member of the team in the early part of the season and even then you could sense that this was a team capable of achieving such a feat. i remember turning up for training during the cold winter months, when times were tough and when only brian and jackson the legend held things together. They deserve all the credit in the world for their dedication, motivational skills and above all recruitment policy! long live the reds in the BSML division one!!!!!!

I would like to take this opportunity on behalf of Jacko the Legend our manager to think everone for there kind words of support after us winning the 2nd div league championship. Jacko has told me it is the proudest moment in his footballing career without a doubt!!you simply cannot argue with what he and his team has achieved this season. At the start of the season the Reds won there 1st seven games but then they losted there two central midfielders Peter Gault Simon Murphy and center half Peter Compton . This was a hugh loss for the Reds and in some ways the results reflected it . The Legend was hard a work behind the senses and signed David Waddell and Barry Mott from the Sky Blue's two great signings who both scored on there debut against Ballykeel. Jacko new he needed a goalkeeper while Peter the great Hurrell and Brian hitman Surgenor where scoring plenty the goalkeeper was making mistakes. Jacko then persuaded Big Davy Reid to do goals this certainly helped big time. There was then a six week break between match's being called off which did not help ,and round Christmas time the Legend did have to dig deep to keep the whole thing from fulling apart. The New year he got a late Christmas present in the return of young Micky McNally from along back injury what a difference he made in the midfield or right or left back along with Andy Harte Stephen Dripps Willy McKitt and Micky McKendry .Sam Foster then came knocking on the door what a keeper!! ,this allowed Jacko to move big Davy out of goals and up front where he preferred to play.Another young player John Kitson played wide left and was outstanding all season. The points where rolling on the board ever week . Then came Jacko's big demand with 9 league games left!!win 7 of your last 9 games and yous will be champions. For some reason all the players epically the young 1s like Scott Taylor and Ryan Logan got belief from the Legends words and infact the team won 7 and draw 2 ended up with 55 points and became 2nd div champions. Jacko new he would win it and he did and with the champagne in the boot of his car from early Feb what a manager!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Hi Lupine123 good to hear from you sorry we did not see your talent in action against Cloughmills . Peter the Great Hurrell informed me who you where . Mark you also played your part in the team and no doubt with you all season we would have been allot stronger!!
