Very poor display from the Champions the day, Commons was awful and his deliveries from corners were terrible. But we'll not worry still top the league, and flying the flag in Europe. Cant wait for Wed night now, Celtic and Glasgow City council organising a fan zone with live music for the 2 best sets of fans in the world on Wed. ;D

Get champions league out of the way, possibly European football until February and they will concentrate on the league, still top when playing poor, bit like United and Cliftonville...f**k I wish the leagues ended tomorrow

Lawwell has openly made it no secret the club is in debt and they plan to cut staff and big wage earners in Jan.Every true Tim knows this. But as seen on tv they only come out 3 home champs lge games a year so there isnt many.Must be ripping fan's off way ticket prices or something for such poor attendences. All signs there of a club ready to implode :-)i still think they will come 4th and no Europa. Then sell sell sell ;-)

CELTIC chief executive Peter Lawwell insists the absence of rivals Rangers is the reason for the attendance slump at Parkhead this season. As the Hoops chief revealed he can’t see any way for the Ibrox outfit to be fast-tracked through the SFL into a revamped top-flight, he blamed the recession for the drop in crowds. And he reckons Celtic’s Champions League adventure has also played a part in the attendance figures. Speaking ahead of his side’s 2-0 defeat to Kilmarnock yesterday, he said: “Celtic fans are making choices. We’re in the Champions League so that means Champions League tickets, it means travelling and most fan's don't have cars, lost there license, you can only fit 5 in a stolen one. “I think the most significant affect on attendances at Celtic Park, and they are greatly concerning, is the Glasgow Rangers. “There is not enough money to go round for our fans to do everything a lot are on the dole some in jail to remember for stealing.” There has been speculation this season that a league reconstruction plan could see Rangers reach the top-flight in the next year of two. But Lawwell backed Dundee United chief Steven Thompson who last week insisted Gers will not be fast-tracked. Lawwell said: “They are in the Third Division and it looks like it will take them three or four years to get there. “In my view, will Rangers get promoted each year? I believe they will. Their resources are greater than any of the clubs they are up against and logically they will be back in the Premier League in four years winning trophies again.” Lawwell also revealed Celtic would keep a close eye on the possible formation of a European league cos the SPL is so corrupt. He said: “I don’t think there are discussions going on at the moment. “I think, for the moment, we try to stay committed to the SPL and doing our best for Scottish football. “But the world is changing, the world’s got smaller, the strong appear to be getting stronger like Glasgow Rangers. “Events may occur through the media or UEFA that we need to keep tabs on and need to make sure if there is change, Celtic will be a part of it.Player sales in January is inevitable with a stadium that resembles a coffin i yet again call out to true Celtic fan's come to games we need all the help we can get” thats what i read in paper other week

Good chance there could be another 7nil in Glasgow in a short space of days but Celtic will yet again park the bus :-).Where will you watch the biggest game of the season maccers :-)Surely with all the non effort put in at the Coffin ground you lot have been saving to go over Wed night. It and that Moscow team then back to normality at the graveyard.Even Fish barely posts about Celtic this season.Nothing on the scale of last.Dieing club after this Champs lge exit....Hooper is expected to get an England call up if he impresses !!! ;-)

ooopppss lol .Well done :-) Fair play to you. Did you watch the game? Few players were outstanding tonight. Particular credit to Victor Wanyama, Adam Matthews and Fraser Forster. We played the way we had to. It's not pretty but it was effective. Special mention too for Tony Watt. Imagine getting a one on one in the Champions League v Barcelona at 18 years old. I got an open goal at Stoneyhill at 27 and s**t myself so God knows how he felt. Proud, proud night for the Hoops. Two draws in the last two games would see us through now. All sorts of formulas could see us through but it's not done yet. Get into the last 16 and get ourselves a big night in February/March next year. Hail Hail
