Now that you mention it, I couldn't believe how quiet old trafford was during the game. Then the commentator said it was a capacity crowd  Imagine old trafford full of the 'Best Fans In The World'! Now that would be an atmosphere!!!!!!! |

Celtic Parks atmosphere has nothing on the mighty Ibrox Pugsy, i think you will find that both sets of the old firm fans will agree that Ibrox and Parkhead home games are terrible for atmpsphere unless it is an old firm game, yes there is a bit of singing but not like it use to be in the early 90's etc!!, Still is a better atmosphere that Prawn United anyway, worst fans i have ever seen in my life, and ive been too many a football stadium across Europe!! |

As regards the scottish league i would tend to follow rangers however as a realist celtic at present are a great advertisement for scottish football. The never ending debate about neil lennon being over rated will never end but in my own opinion he's as every bit it as good as any one else because if martin o'neill starts with him the lad has talent. Celtic where very unlucky the other nite against utd, although they had limited chances they were their own enemy for the goals they conceded as regards the penalty (which never was) and graveson giving that pass away!!! People can say the scottish league is inferior which is very true but when it comes to big games celtic can more than match their opposition regarding europe.....as to can rangers, but again as i repeat as a realist i would fancy celtic as the superior team representing the scottish league in europe. Its fair to say the country we live in no matter how well celtic or rangers do they will always recieve unwelcomed criticism but i believe im one of few people about that likes to see either team do well when they are in europe. I know when they play against one another its hard not to contain your passion but at the same time i do respect the opposing team as celtic proved the other night their fans are a great advertisement for any team, and i do believe without their support they wouldnt have performed to the extent they did although they where beaten. I think its time people stood up and got behind celtic and rangers instead of constantly undermining each other in europe because i genuinely believe its only a matter of time before they start achieving (thats a big statement)!!! Either way lads.....i know its nice for some people to see celtic defeated in europe and vice versa regarding rangers but on a serious note id love to see both teams do well this year in europe and at least progress to the latter stages of both competitions!!!

Couldnt agree more with you hustler, again being a rangers fan i thought celtic where very unlucky the other nite. I do think that utd where the better team and deserved the win although celtic more than gave a good performance and their fans where excellent....as always!! I know its early days but more performance like that and celtic can contest the latter stages of the champions league no bother....and thats something id like to see as gordon strachan is a great manager and deserves abit of luck!!!

Rooney 30m, Ferdinand 30m. On the night it was difficult to tell which side had the 30m players.
As for this so called link between Celtic and Man Ure. I am sick of it. I dont see any link. Celtic are a big enough team to stand on their own. As for these Irish Celtic/Utd fans. They can feck off to Old Trafford. we dont need them. I can just hear them, "Oh I dont really care who wins." FECK OFF. Support all 20 EPL teams then you cant lose BAWBAGS. Same goes for those Celts who say that we have a great connection with Liverpool s**te because of YNWA and King Kenny. We dont need yo and we have a much bigger support and Kenny was ours first.
