Yeah, but we've still dropped points in games we should have won unfortunately. Hopefully we can eradicate those dropped points next season if we're still in division 3. What you think of Inver, lad?

I see that a few teams have had a bit of trouble against inver but i thought they were a decent bunch of lads. In footballing terms they were okay, their wide players are probably the biggest threats, we shoulda tanked them if i'm being honest but i fancy they will finish just outside the play-off positions. maybe one position ahead of t'patrick

It was a game we should have won Pugford.
Sadly, we didn't and fair play to Inver for keeping going right to the end. Looked like they were gonna snatch it for ten mins or so. Was a clean enough game played in a decent spirit.

You crack me up! neil your really slipping, this isnt even hard any more, scoring three goals is called a hat trick in football, i usually bang around three or more this weather so hatfull is close enough. the good news for you is american chicks will get totally wrapped up in the fact your irish and have a nice accent and overlook your other discrepancies, you might even pull..... just dont mention that you play field hockey

www.lisnafillan-swifts.com/leaguetable.htmIts in your own hands, we (lisnafillan) got beat in the playoffs last year and got beat by those useless heurs cloughmills thistle on penaltys in the final, nothing worse, especially when your injured and cant do your bit! we still have alot of hard games ahead of us in the league: Glenarm - Home Templepatrick - Home Blackstone - Away Woodside - Away Castle Knights - Home who do you guys have to play yet?

Thanks for that Rab it certainly is an intriguing finish. Surely you've left one fixture out though... do you not have 6 matches left?
I hope Glenarm keep giving it their all despite already being guaranteed promotion.
2nd place is a long-shot for us now... the only hope is to win all 5 remaining matches and hope you guys lose to Glenarm and another team.
I'm loving this league at the moment but hopefully this time next year we'll be in the promotion race in Division 2 ... if we make the same sort of progress next season as we have this year then that isn't unrealistic.

yeah, i forgot about
Demense Star - Away
The playoff defeat spurred us on for this season, we looked at it as if it was maybe a season to early to go up, we'd probably do all right in the second tbh. the third divison is a great league, i study in liverpool and have only took part in 7 games this season, including one against you guys, which i played s**te, and got subbed at half time! lol but i did score!
I miss not being part of it, im home for next weekends fixtures and the next 3 saturdays after that so hopefully we can get are game arranged, hopefully i can get fit, and hopefully i get picked!
Good luck with the rest of it lads

Taylor is a legend and having watched last night's game, he didn't have much of a chance for 5 of the goals, his defence were MIA for the entire game.
Having said that, Cisse's last goal was simply awful on Taylor's part! A bad day at the office to say the least.

Oh aye wee McClay turns against his allies in the defence.
Some of our defence risk their lives each week to help protect that goal and this is how he repays us.
Me and Mongo risking our good looks challenging for every ball, Big Rob risking the wrath of Ballymena's nazi population, Harris driving to Wakehurst 3 times over the legal limit and you accuse us of being MIA!!
Shame on you Frodo

I'm the best full back at the club, and when i play at centre half, i'm the best centre back at the club. Mike and Deano do fill in well tho!

Mike and Deano do fill in well tho! Wise up Rob!!! Who amongst the Blackstone Rovers would dare believe you to be the best fullback at the club?? Only one man deserves that title-he goes by the name of chop. His composure on the ball is second to none, who else has the ability to start dribbling at right back and repeatedly cut inside players until they find themselves at left back? I mean he turns up totally pissed for every match and still turns in a perfect performance!!!! And he doesn't completely s**te himself any time the ball is at his feet!!! Long live the chop. ;D
