Ballykeel f.c. have been drawn away to the Homers in the 3rd round of the O'kane cup. Should be a great game and very tight and wouldn't it be great to put one over the boys from Harryville. Any comments on how this match might go post here please.

If use have a fully fit Squad use could beat them without a doubt. Make sure Justy is playing and use will be guarenteed a few goals.

I don't see any reason why you can't beat them Doc to be honest. We (Lisnafillan) played them in the cup a couple of weeks ago and although we were missing a few players we gave them a decent game and I'd say we had as many chances as they did. Their finishing was better than ours though. They have some good players: John McDowell, Bonnesy, Sooty, Phillip McBurney,etc but I think it will be close.
As we proved by beating last years league champions Penarol on Saturday past, the big teams can be beaten.

Maybe I dunno. You's seemed to be trying hard enough to me but I know it was only a friendly.
Still no excuse with the side you had out. IMO probably the best midfield in the BSML was out there: Yourself, Keith Wylie, Mark Gamble and Kieron Loughran. Add the likes of Roy Davison and Sean Quinn, Darren Crawford and Wes Lamont and really you guys should be beating anyone.

IMO probably the best midfield in the BSML was out there: Yourself, Keith Wylie, Mark Gamble and Kieron Loughran. Add the likes of Roy Davison and Sean Quinn, Darren Crawford and Wes Lamont and really you guys should be beating anyone. Not going 2 get into an argument but take it from me we didt start sure i never moved from the centre circle ;D |

Ah well if you's didn't try then you make take the slagging on the chin as its only your own fault for not running. Don't know why you's bothered playing the friendly in the first place then if you weren't going to try. |

Right for a start our manager arranged it thats y it was played no1 was interested whats the point going out and tankin a team in a friendly  2- Simon a competitive match is completley different but if beatin penarol in a non event keeps u happy so be it f**k hope we get youse in a cup please |

I hope we get you's in the cup too mate At the end of the day you were playing a 3rd division side and I think you thought you could just turn up and you'd win about 5 or 6 but that wasn't the case. We've improved alot since we played you about a year ago so maybe that caught you's off guard I don't know. Of course there wasn't the same intensity as a big match but I'm always up for any game of football, I thought most people were. I hate losing whether its a friendly or a cup final TBH. I do know that if I was playing for a team like yourselves (although i'm obviously not good enough) I would be doing my best to make sure I didn't get embarrassed by a 3rd division team due to the banter I'd have to listen to afterwards. Therefore if you's didn't really try (which I disagree with) you can blame no one but yourselves for having to listen to a wee bit of slagging after the game. Just lighten up and take it on the chin. We all know what a good team Penarol are so its not like we're trying to say something like 'we beat Penarol, they're crap'. Far from it mate. TBH I think you's missed Sloany's pace at the back ;D |

Well I have to say that you obviously know very little about me as I'm possibly the fastest player in our squad. Speed is the one asset I possess (pity about my touch ) Think I ran the 100 metres in just over 12 secs before so get back to drawing board and come up with something thats not made up. |

Even so simon, thats serious running. Did you pick up many prizes at sportsdays?? I was crap at running im ashamed to say, but i could scratch a badgers ass with my right foot. I wasnt bad at the shotputt and was gonna become a goalkeeper, but i thought rubber duck it i want to play out.
