Not a pretty game to watch football wise. Good bit of mouthing kept it interesting though. Can say when we played woodvale they were nothing but gentlemen on the field and on the line- wasn't the case today. Num 9 was lucky enough to stay on the field, as was 4. Not sure where they got no. 12 out of, complete goat. Homers players kept their cool all game. Anyways well done homers |

Spat at him as be ran past. Whether it landed or not I dono but shouldn't matter. Dirty act. Most folk were we where standing at the wall in the car park saw it but it seemed to pass by everyone else. Ps - if anyone knows of any discounted clutches please let mrfish know - the style of his driving today would suggest he may need regular replacements  |

I didn't realise he was so quick either. Fully agree he's the best centre half in the league. On another note after seeing Woodvale today i'd expect Portaferry to beat them in the final of the Shield as well! |

York Road Loughside are in their first season of the BPIL and so were entered into Junior Div 2, though well capable of competing in the Intermediate Division. They beat Dunloy afternoon team a couple of weeks ago 2-1 in a cup competition. Big squad with a lot of ex milk cup and ex Irish league players (allegedly). Unbeaten in their league this season 100 % record, 62 goals in 8 games with only 3 scored against. As I said well above standard they are playing in. they also have a 'b' team www.bpil.org.uk/ |

I'm nearly 100 % sure we played them in pre-season and beat us 3-0 at our place, and if I remember right they played us off the pitch that day as I remember saying that they would win that new league they were going into very easily. Big strong physical team who even in a friedly kicked us around the pitch, though they played nice footy too. It was our keeper big Ricky Quigley who organised it as he knew a few of their lads, I would be very surprised if the big man wasnt friendly with a few homers players so it might be worth having a wee word with him for some more info |
