good three points tonight, super free kick from wilko to win it against a well organised penarol side who look like they will do ok this season!! have to say dont think i have ever seen so many injuries at a club at one time, we had at least 8 players missing tonight and at least 2 playing who were struggling with knocks so credit to everyone who dug in to get the three points!! roll on the end of the midweeks!! Think there's a brave few teams looking forward to the end of midweeks already, not least the top 3. Is there 1 more week of them after next week jnr? |

In all seriousness, ive never known a start to a season like this with so many teams struggling with as many injuries.

Thats 5 :-) In all seriousness, ive never known a start to a season like this with so many teams struggling with as many injuries. it is unreal the injuries we have and from reading on here seems to be the same for yourselves and Homers, so just goes to show the strength and depth all three have when we all have 100% starts with so many injuries, makes for a very close season!! |

Too right!!! Saints plugging away without our top marksman too!! ;D ;D ;D Incidentally, does anyone need any milk? I will have plenty until at least Tuesday evening!! |

Yeah it was as believable as there one, "scramblers on the pitch" ;D Hahaha...I mind a few years back they called their match off against Broadway claiming one half of the pitch was totally submerged in water...we Fusco just happened to be passing it a while later and walked across it taking photos!! |
