Shiels would be a real cracking signing.
Both times i was over last season against Kilmarnock he ran the show from start to finish. Can't believe him taking the step down but then again it's a chance some of them would never have had.

If I was a Rangers supporter, I would want to see some of the younger lads who have a bit of talent getting a chance now rather than bringing in 10/11 experienced pro's to add to the ones have stayed. You would think with having Alexander, Wallace, Broadfoot, little, mcullough and if they get shields, black, Beattie signed up, they should have enough about them to be able to give the younger lads a start with them and see how they develop

Fair enough when yese first went into administration I did have a go old winding session but since the s**t really hit the fan I do believe I've been a rather sympathetic soul!!

If yese run with a lot of the old heads, they'll be long gone by the time yese are up (well the likes of Savage anyway, the likes of Beattie will be more done than they are now) and the young lads will have to step in then. Obviously they will learn things from the old pros but I would imagine they'd be better learning and gaining from their own participation. As with most things, there are pro points with both arguements!!
