It is with the greatest pleasure that I would welcome Dick and Del Reid back to Cloughmills on behalf of all the players and committee of the club. Yes I said welcome back, because everyone knows Dick played a major part in our promotion and cup winning season but not too many remember Del playing and scoring goals for Cloughmills some 10 years ago before moving onto Carniny. No doubt two of the best players to play in the league and a welcomed boost to our small squad. I have no doubt if they remain fit and playing they will help us secure some valuable points between now and May. Hopefully the last piece of the January transfer window gets completed tomorrow  Thanks to Dobbie and Ally for signing the forms and releasing both. |

Not only does junior bring a wilth of quality and league winning experience he brings the players. I told rab my signature will change this clubs history and boy was I right. Its proof that quality players brings quality players.

2 reids turned raceview afternoon side down to sign for cloughmills dowie must of hit the nail on the head with the just games no training statement.
Good luck anyhow cloughmills but still nowhere near the likes of carnlough in terms of a balanced team with quality players all over the pitch likewise with abbeyview and a full strength fc Antrim.

I've been ignoring your veiled posts about training etc on this thread but you're starting to call me out with your continual abuse ;D Let us have our moment....we're a very small club compared to Carniny but small steps and there are people in and around Cloughmills (not only at the club) who see a big future for football in the village and that starts with the senior team! One day maybe signing players like the Reids will not raise so many eyebrows?!?! |
