At a time when we should be celebrating our 10th season in the BSML we are in the unfortunate situation that unless we sign 4-5 more players the club will cease to exist in the near future.
While we have retained pretty much all of our starting 11 from last season (and added a couple of good players) we have been hit by a number of our squad players deciding to call it a day and unfortunately no one can run a team without a squad. With a few additions we have the potential for a better season than last but that won't be possible if we can't add to the 13 we have now.
We certainly aren't giving up yet so if anyone out there is interested in joining us pm me!

Never a nice thing to hear.... but give it a few weeks, when boys don't get a run for their teams they usually are looking a move. I have heard a few other teams struggling too

Tough times indeed.
I had a talk with the gaffer on a few occasions, so he knows where i stand.
I'm going back to college in the evenings so i can't train, and to be honest i'm also fed up of the 50 mile round trip to train!
If i can't commit to the season then i wasn't going to sign. Cussy asked if i'd help out when i was needed, and i will, but it still leaves Westend short of players.
Hopefully we can get some new faces in
