Who is the best player to play for skyblues?

I notice that you didn't give us a list of players because you know bugger all Robin ;D.
I'd have to say either the venerable Liverpool fan Harris Talbot, or Des Winter.
Des was amazing when I had the chance to see him, so god knows what kind of running about the pitch the man did in games past. Never seemed to stop working. His brother Charlie was a good player also.

Tough one this thread, its very close between Harris Talbot and Desi Winters, but i think big Harris shades it for me, but only just.

Sky Blues have good players at the moment but not great players like H Talbot D Winter . The team they played in where a team of winners( hardworking fit good team spirit ) Every time you played that team you knew you where in a game.
They had a very strong defence great mid maybe the forward line could have been stronger.Carniny were always the team to beat and still are

I would like to say in my opinon that roy leacock was the best player ever for the sky blues if he only had have trained a little harder the likes of mott and doey wouldnt hold a candle to the talents he had.(no disrespect to g.mott and c.doey)
p.s
I wopuld like to vote b.mott as having the best ever hairstyle on a football pitch.

Have to disagree with you there. I think you can hardly say he was the best as he wasnt there that long and half the time he turned up hung over. No doubt he had plenty of talent, but he never done anything with it unlike the likes of Harris Talbot and Desi Winters. And yes Junior's hairstyle is a real trendsetter. |
