Whats the thoughts on this?
Most of our boys would probably agree that the two standout performers against us this season were James Gracey for Carniny and Jordan Kenny for Ballykeel.
Both only played half a season so would probably be unfair to vote for either.

i disagree if they wer the best players use played against use should vote for them regardless of how long they have played this season!!
i think division one will be close this year once again but i reckon paul mcneill and mo mcdowell wont be far away!! hopefully some of my own players get the recognition they deserve as well!!

I think Gavin must be in with a fair chance Joe. He's impressed anytime I've watched or played against you's.

See, I'm in the same boat as those two...injury kept me out most of the season so I probably won't get as many votes as I should have...

Jordan Kenny is the first player that springs to mind for me. Few others too but I don't know a lot of the names.

gavin has been excellent for us all season as has everyone at the club!!
forgot to add chris dowie to the list of people i think could have a big shout of winning it, his goalscoring record is second to none and is a big reason why carniny have been so successful not just this year but in the past three seasons!!

Maybe a 3rd div player should stay out if this but......
Anytime I've seen carniny the big ginger fella in the middle of the park has been super. Wins the headers, puts a hard fair tackle in and pass it to someone like moe to do the damage...maybe he could be in with a shout.

I remember him playing 3rd division about 6-7 years ago, quality player, must have been hitting the gym too, he was really skinny back in the day

That's the one...Mott was telling me when he signed for carniny he was going out jogging to get fitter and seen bambi doing sprints up the football pitch lol...just shows that wee bit of extra training goes a long way.
