maccers from carnlough said the 2 going up this year is the team that wins the final obviously and not the runners up but the team with the best position in the league table.so Dunloy can obviously go all out and win it or say for instance they have guys missing due to GAA it doesnt matter if they field a weak side and lose cos on paper they still go up.now thats what i have been told.i honestly thought it should be runners up play abbeyview to give teams more incentive..some1 like bap will hit the rule book for me but pretty sure what i have said is correct

Because broadway folded only 2 teams go down and 3 promoted to even up the numbers again, any other stories or theories are bull lad.

actually wrong just noticed penarol came 3rd so its them would benefit tonight if they lost.bascially take back all i said and if penarol lose and say dunloy and the fc antrim get to final.and dunloy win even though fc antrim beat penarol ,penarol still go up.my mistake took the 3rd place up wrong but isnt that a shambles.id be pretty pissed if i were an fc antrim player and they won say 3nil.got to final,lost it on penalties and penarol went up.....

although if you were 3rd and 4th place was say 10points behind and you had just lost out on a 3horse race for the title,then got to the final of playoffs ref gave a dodgy pen and you lost with 2mins to go but that rule saved you it would be kinda fair.but the season didnt end like that.....as you say jonny rules are mad at times

I'm sticking my neck out and going for a team not assured of a play off spot but have been the form team in the 2nd after ourselves of course and tbh I'm glad we don't have to play them again so its fc antrim for me. clown not so slow after all |
