waa done well last night on the pen. brown did say his head was down low and he got on with it not like some of the ahoghill players all the best to the both teams .

Someone tell waa i thought he had an excellant game, most refs would of sent at least few off with the abuse he took but i don't think Waa booked anyone for dissent. |

I thought if a player kicked out on the floor that was a straight red? Never mind doing it twice with the ref standing over it watching!!  some say it's hard to be a ref and I agree but something's just come down to bottle and common sense which some lack imo |

Never mind doing it twice with the ref standing over it watching!! some say it's hard to be a ref and I agree but something's just come down to bottle and common sense which some lack imo I'm hoping someone points out to bale that 1 of ahoghills players got away with throwing 2 punches at myself whilst on the ground a few weeks back and also saying 1 of the best refs in the league has no bottle is uncalled for just hope it doesn't come back to haunt u |

Some of the tackles that were being thrown in last night were pretty meaty (from both teams I must say) - and a lot of other Refs wouldve blown up and handed out a lot more cards IMO, but I think Waa done rightly. If you are talking about straight reds, what about the tackle on our right winger Sophian from behind, then Thistle player getting up and shouting over the top of him calling him all sorts??? (But hey, lets not get clutching at straws here!!! ) Getting back to the game, rather than bitching about it, I actually thought it was a pretty good game to watch. Nice to see the Waveney battling spirit back again. Thistle played well and took their chances, its easy to see why they are sitting where they are. Credit to big Goram for taking on this team and making a success of it (even though he is a gurn on the sidelines ;D). Whether Northend or Thistle wins the league, im deleting my account on these forums, as both team members are gonna be f***ing hard to listen to!!! Good luck Thistle in the run in! |

Catch a grip man And I'm not running waa down, hes one of the better refs and done well last night but there a few decisions I thot were a bit obvious for both sides that weren't given, but I guess that's football!! On the game, wav were defo a lot better than last weeks game, would like to see them stay up. Hope they play with that same fight v NE! Good battle last night |

Ah come on lad wise up!! The tackle wasnt great, but wasnt a red card....but getting up after it and losing the bap is what I meant about the "red card" instance. I think we would agree, a lot of other referees would see the tackle and the dissent after the tackle as a sending off offence as a whole. Thistle didnt get all the cards either, I think Waveney got 2?? Waveney are gonna need this battling spirit to stay up no doubt about it!! |
