This sat we travel to rasharkin to play cmills ...this will b a very tough place to get a result . small pitch , cmills unbeaten at home i heard to nite .... great weeks training at the thistle camp ... alot of hard work put in . one injury scare to nite on the training field  .... apart from that , we have a strong squad travellin out to face ricks mob .... cum on the wee thistle . WLTW  |

Be tough one for the Thistle missin there first choice striker force of Doik and Big Stu but after Mannies performance last week think he'll have no problems fillin the No.9 shirt tough choice for The Duck who partners him!!!

Watched these two teams play.Also was in Ahoghill to watch them clash.Ahoghill seemed to have 5 1st team players out.Maybe i am wrong but the midfield and forward line is completely different and much stronger.Northend had there strongest team out 1-1 i think and Ahoghill almost snatched it last min .Think the next time Northend will get tore to shreads if Ahoghill have the team i watched them have out recently.Ahoghill play attractive football.Northend at the back are just big lads that whack the ball upfield they dont play it out neat much.Would be well exposed in the 1st.Ahoghill would be a top 6 1st divison team if they were in it no problem.A lot stronger than last year.I think smiley they will win the league comfortably when comparing squads not just a better starting 11 but the guys who can come straight in when needed.Just my thoughts on this 2 horse race :-)

I bet if we had they team that played dunloy last week out northend would beat Ahoghill! Northend didn't even play well vs Ahoghill! Sure the big team in Ahoghill prob won't be top 6 so what makes there 2nd team good enough? |

imo ahoghill got a bit lucky in that game and tbf they cuda snatched it late on but if we hada took r chances early on the game shuda been over...that game was so early on in the season and we have settled alot better now and startn to play sum nice neat footie...i put that down to training on the 3g at the showgrounds twice a week..u talk bout r defence..tbf they have shaped up a good bit and imo i wudnt like to play against them because wen there on there game there very hard to get past...remember the next game against ahoghill is at r home pitch so trust me wen i say they wont get it easy and 4 1 sure thing they wont b going home that day with 3 points...as 4 players out we still have bucky barry mccgonigle and skiddy to cum in...r squad is alot stronger than we get credit 4 so i dont mind ppl haven an opinon but dont judge us till we have every1 back and r team is settled..were up there and thats all we cud ask 4 but still alot more to cum from northend...watch the space

I think if you check the paper and results the Ahoghill Rovers so far and if they keep it up will end up in the top 6 in the 1st,they have been getting excellent results.In my eyes if they played each other it would be 1 hell of a tight game and both Thistle and Rovers camps would agree.Dunloy are a funny team.Its there 3rd or 4th sport out there.If they put the soccer before the G.A.A i doubt you would have beaten them 6.I have seen you's twice and havent been impressed.Ahoghill have definitely impressed me.Like i say its only my opinion.Maybe you could win it if a lot of Thistle men..... well say 12 get injured :-) :-)(joking).Nothend play old school hoofing the ball football,Thistle seem organised and tidy plenty of movement and keep it on the deck i have noticed.I dont watch much 2nd div football but from what i have seen i am just giving my prediction as i have watched the slagging from start of the season so have managed to pick up a couple games each side to see what all the fuss is about and why its this so called two horse race .But 1 thing i certainly am enjoying the rivalry on here.Good luck to both teams :-)

But... Like what was said, if we both go up in 1st and 2nd I think northend will go straight back down with us holding our own and staying up. Northends style may be good in this div but they will be found out in div 1. We play football and think we could mix it with any1 in div 1
