Lads absolutely outstanding we battled our hearts out and i dont think we could give anymore especially after going a man down. To be honest i would of been dissapointted just going up as runners up and would of made our dinner crap now we have the league dinner and our own dinner to look forward to ;D I have to say Connors linesman was a disgrace and the ref tried his best for Connor. Congratulations lads, was a great game today, real good battle.
Absolutely gutted not to have won it but we'll just have to try and pick ourselves up for Wednesday night.

well done 2 broadway on winning the league ... yous wanted it more and a few of the connor players never showed up  mickey was the best player on the park 2day by a mile .... i told yous all, noton would b better at the pens ;D asfor connor they are bad losers ,bar the 2 ahoghill men ;D ... atleast they stayed and showed the bhoys respect on winning the 2nd ...... its not hard 2 stay out and credit them for winning, all connor wanted 2 do was run 2 the changing rooms and hide .....have respect lads ... all the best 2 both teams next year . yous deserve 2 b goin up ... few players required on bth sides tho  |

First of all as a neutral today it was a fantasic game to watch. 2nd, on the day, Broadway deserved the point, IMO they had the bigger heart that Connor. Although Mario missed 2 big pens in last couple games, I cant believe anybody could criticise him as the amount of goals he scored this season is unbelievable. Again as a neutral, pretty disappointed in most Connor players after the game, I know it hurt but its sportmanship. I watched North end stay out and applaud Abbeyview when they won league at dunfane couple years ago. On that point, as others have already said, fair pair to Sandy and Norty for staying out, 2 good lads. Think the 2 Maybins made the differenbe today.

I couldnt believe the Connor lads not staying out and at least taking it like men...
Brian Maybin missed nothing upfront all day and he was winning balls against big Norton which is some achievment,

That was very very hard to take today but well done to BC for winning the league, I think your extra experience and physical strength saw youse through in the end, even though you havn't beaten us this season  The game itself was physical but I don't think it was as dirty as the cup game a few weeks ago, ref had a decent enough game although the red card was harsh I thought. Rubberman, never got to shake your hand at the end 'cos I was absoultly shattered/gutted after playing most of the game with half a hamstring, but it was good battle out there and I honestly didn't know the trophy was being presented or else I would have stayed out for it, just followed the rest of the lads in. Anyway, enjoy celebrations and hope we will take revenge against ye's next year in the first division |

Mitty totally agree i have won leagues and cup finals and also lost them but i have always stood and acceptted the other side getting there trophy even tho it pained me but as you say its SPORTSMANSHIP!! Another thing the abuse Marriott got from some Connor players was a disgrace during the game the names he was called was just laughable and who was doing the name calling yes you guessed it.................................
