As we (mostly) seem to be at the mid way point, who has been the player that has impressed you most in your division.
For me the centre midfield for Dunloy, blond fella, was best player I have seen against us this year..... Goram was superb against us, was like a one man defence, Jesus at westend was very good too. Big Fergie for St Comgalls as well, but strange he was playing centre back!

Think I will put a first division point of view in oh this!!
Beat player IMO we have played against this year is Sooty of homers, his performance in O'Kane cup final against us was superb controlled the game and dictated the pace of the game stopping us from getting a foothol in the game!! A real captains performance on the night!!
As for honours at the end of the year I reckon homers with their 100% record so far are big favourites to win the league but still think there is a long way to go!!

Just the players I reckon have been the best against us this year. Ahoghill Thistle - James Gracey Braid - Dee Montgomery Cullybackey- Jordan McCullough Dunloy - Im sure he has a real name but your blonde haired lad in centre midfield FC Antrim - they were brutal against us and honeslty couldnt name you one player who played well. Hollywell - they were shocking against us but there captain was handy enough Inter Stars - Flo's play acting was top class Seven Towers - Sean Norris scored all 4 but Marrsy was man on match by a country mile. Shore - Hale or McCauley (quality throught the team) St Comgalls - The Turk - everything came through him and caused us bother the whole game. Templepatrick - yer man up front Stefan was top class. Waveney - Two centre halfs were in great form the day we played them, Gimlore and Phil Alexander I think. Westend - Mark Watson -ran the game for the west side crew.

Wee sausage the best player I have come up against this year in the third...wee number 7 for Demense yesterday was prity handy too. Athletico antrim a couple of good players and burrows up front for them. Haunt played against him yet but Dick Reid will be a handfull and speedy for wakehurst also.

Does pearce have no intrest in playing higher donko? bale , not every1 wants 2 play higher ... 2 play higher . it means training 2 nites a week and the s**t run out of u ... could mean extra travelling ...then on sats , it takes up most of ur day ... u could b in castlederg etc ... its not every1s cup of tea... young ones nowadays want 2 start every game ,if they dont , they leave straight away .... so many cant heck the training , 2nites , and plus they are playing against better players each week and give up 2 easy ... so many want 2 star in lower leagues ... i have heard of all these next stars .... not many make it across the water and cum home and struggle 2 get and irish league team ...

So many players in the BSML could play higher but like the big man says it takes up alot of your time, people aren't prepared to put the trainin in!

it hardly pays to play irish league anymore with the all day saturday thing and training 2/3 nights during the week. What's better than playing in the morning then watching footy in the afternoon and being half cut by dinner time!

I just want to be in a winning team, I've always been playin with teams that struggle that's not for me, bn at carniny as made me realise how greedy I am for trophies, when I'm older I want to have madals and trophies to show my wee man when I'm done playi , our playing careers don't last long so win as much as you can while you can, also u need to enjoy it but for me u dont enjoy it unless I'm winnin!

Agree with what your saying chris, but in my opinion theres nothing like trying to win trophies with your hometown club. The nights we won the carlberg/rainey cup and the top four with the blues and also the second div with the reds are probably my best memories of my footballing carreer. Wining the league with race view last year didnt feel anywhere near the same.
