IWe are hopeful we can go up automatically this year, though there are 4 very good teams challanging for those top 2 spots as well, all of which we have to play away from home and we also have to play connor at home too . So who are these 4 very good teams then? I assume you mean Broadway, Seven Towers, Shore and Connor. Is there anyone from these 5 spectacular outfits expecting a 6th club to crash the party? Last seasons Div 3 League and Cup champions St Comgalls perhaps. After a slow start we've found our form and have done rather well against these so-called 'favourites' - only bad result against a top side being the last minute defeat in a water-polo game with Broadway. Still to play all the top 5 at home as well. Just a thought...

Nah think thats about it covered bap! Only jesting mate, would have threw you up in there too but, imho, with the start you'se had its always hard to catch up on points if uve had a dodgy start to season. Also from talking to a few boys up in larne, they reckon ur never really guaranteed ur best team every week which doesnt help. If u have the team out you had against us, ur as good as anybody in division, as although we were shocking 1st 60mins, you lads played really well.

As usual we are forgotten about. They tend to wear blinkers regarding Larne teams. Although Inver are s**te so that can be sort of understandable to a degree. We will be there come the end of the season, and will be in the mix. 2 ropey results - a draw away to Penerol and a 2 - 1 defeat to BCFC sort of knocked us back abit, but then mid week games at the start of every season always have done that.

Am I right in saying we have 2 games against 7 Towers to play. BCFC at home. Conor at home. Michelin at home. Considering away performances there is a possible 12 points here, which would rattle all the so called big 5.

Our team has been fairly consistant to be honest Mitty. I dont know who told you that. About 2 players generally float in and out with work commitments but apart from that we are ok. We lack strength on the bench, which is tha biggest concern, and that comes from the main benchwarmer. Unfortunatley our team is to fond of booze and parties again im a bad example of that, and although Saturdays arent to bad, Mondays can be a f**king nightmare.

Haha!! just to note I was jesting...I'm not quite in darrenkells1's league yet. There were 18 boys at training and another 5 or 6 either injured or working. We played a really good St. Comgall's side who will be in the playoffs at least and became complacent against Waveney, which I blame on the comfort of their changing rooms.

To be fair they were the most comfortable changing rooms ever, Swedish massuse was a bit much though, think leroy got his number so at least somebody got a result

Ally Gordon stepped down from managing Michelin tonight after nearly 4 years in charge. In the 4 years under him we won the George McCauley cup twice and has got us into the play off's in the past 2 years and hopefully again this year, so weve had some good times! Id like to thank him, and Im sure the other lads do to, for the 4 years, its been good crack. Rab Caughey and some guy Froggy will be taking over until the end of season. All the best Ally ( just stay away from that 7 tower shower ) Only joking lads ;D

He seemed to have a pretty successful 4 seasons i take it the fiasco against Connor was the main reason.
Is Ally for the towers?

I think its disrespectful to be talking about another club who have a manager and are doing really well.
As for Michelin i wish them all the best and hope to see them where they belong soon. Gr8 bunch of lads there and they deserve to be up there

Having not been at Michelin for the past few months I wasn't really aware of how things were going at the club other than the results. It has to be said though, the majority of my time at Michelin has been great. I would like to wish Ally all the best in the future.

have to say was shocked when i heard this.....will be strange not seeing lon wee bald head on opposite line in el classico and his decision means i did not manage to beat him while he was at mich - altho a few times have came mighty close (mcauley semi couple years back and the other week). agree that talk of ally to towers (where has all this come from!!?? ) is disrespectful both to towers as a club and to our players and current manager personally. all we are focussing on is finishin season strongly after 4 years tho his record at mich has been v good and im sure he will be back in bsml sooner rather than later

I'll let it slide this time Pele with all the fun and games between the clubs in recent years I thought I would attempt to mess about with it. I didnt mean to upset the management nor players of the towers camp IF we get to meet in the play offs, I now know what my plan is if I want to go fishing to get a bite leading up to the game
