Starts tonight 6pm KO. So rush home from work to watch it.
Tough enough game to start with away to Hapoel Tel-Aviv of Israel. Personally I would take a draw now.
If TM starts with the 4-5-1 formation it has a draw written all over it IMHO. Hopefully he starts 4-4-2 and goes for a win.
Ideally going 2 or 3 up would be magic, and then take off a few players before Sundays big game to Hearts.
Incidently, we have Hamburg in our group and that is also the City hosting the UEFA cup final. Wouldnt it be nice to make 2 visits to it this season. ;D

I had heard earlier that it had been cancelled on ESPN as they had decided to show a basketball match......
Really important to give a good account of ourselves but as Mower says, I'd take a draw to get us started in what is a tricky first tie!!!

cant believe what i saw tonight. celtic dont play with any urgency at present. rangers had a horrible 1st half and could have been 3nil down but came out and got a point... and nearly had 3 at full time. more heart and determination required....

It was an embarrassment last night. We should have had 2 or 3 goals last night in the first half. The 4-5-1 doesnt work. Mowbray is inexperianced in Europe and its showing. Im still not convinced he was the man for the job. We need a continental manager.
...............and Gary Caldwell, shut the door on the way out.

true. i admire the way rangers came out after a tough 1st half. they put in a good 2nd half for a well deserved point. pity our bhoys didnt try that wee bit harder too. thatl be a hard lesson for mogga and the lads. lets hope its their last mistake of the group stages. im prayn rangers finish 3rd in their group and we qualify from ours. then, just maybe then we will meet in europe. have they ever met. i cant rem

Mowbray needs to wise up to f**k about that 4-5-1 formation. I was one of the many that slated Rangers for playing that boring negaitive style in the UEFA cup. Although it got them to the final at least they new how to f**kin playin it.

I have to agree, last season he really got his act together as the season before, when we had fought back and won the title he was hated by the fans until the final hurdle (and rightly so as his performances were terrible). Last season he was a different player, winning awards etc. Then hey presto, he starts spouting pure brown about how he's worth this and that and he'll leave if he doesn't get the wages to represent his ability.... Be careful what you wish for Gary, you may be looking at a severe drop in pay with that request, you're hugely overpaid as it is!!!!

frustrating draw. created alot but drew blank in second half. think that linesman is flag happy... and blind. but not as blind as the ref in the gers match ;D ah well, bring on the mongols

Again very disappointing performance from the most of our players. Surprised with some of the selections again also but who am I...... We were never going to create after Maloney and McGeady were pulled but McGeady was really starting to tire. I think Maloney could have played on rightly. I'd have hooked Sammy aff tae f**k!! When we got our act together we played some great football at a very high tempo but at the minute too many of the players selected tonight were nowhere near fit enough to maintain that kind of effort!!! As Turfboat says, Bring on the gers!!!!!!
