Fields been awesome, animal. Both him and AK have been super at the back line, actually sorry the whole back 4 have been awesome, davy putting the boot in, AK just kicking it away, Johnny going through 2 players to get a ball and Jay Crane with the trusty left peg great Balance to the back.
Nice one lads.

Will come with time Davy, the back line will become stronger and able to know each players strengths and weakness, just keeping each player fit for every game, is a tough call. I reckon the back line good enough.
Clean sheets r going to come i have no doubt.

These are always tight affairs so I think a goal will decide it. Could go either way, wouldn't be putting any money on it!

After last weeks defeat of shore I would think that Braid are favourites to win this one.
Saying that a win for TFC might get people to consider them as serious contenders for a play off spot.

was an brilliant result for the Braid men against the Shore team, if they play the same way then TFC will have a good match to contend with.
I think TFC will be happy with the mid table safe from the drop zone, just got to pick up points if and when we can.
Should be a good match lets hope a ref turns up??

Spoke to one of the Braid players on Sat. and that was the strongest team they put out against Shore and they were a solid unit. Throughout the match they only had about 6 chances (not even clear cut) and put away 4 of them very well. After playing against both sides this season I would favour Braid as long as they have the same starting 11 they had against Shore.

Same starting 11 as against Shore, yep TFC will find it very difficult to get a result, TFC have a few additions to the squad and should prove to be very good signings adding a different attacking force to the front.
Should be a good match Meeko, defo.
Lets hope played at a good tempo and both sides enjoy the game.
Who do you lads play next??

Taking each game as it comes, i think the team very happy at the position we in, but i think to establish as a good 2nd division team this season, then push for the play-offs next season. 2nd division at the mo shows there a lot of good battling teams and TFC in among that, but i think to establish our selves as a good 2nd division side is a starting point.
At the mo we building for the future and hopefully come the end of the season if we get Play-offs then great. Team needs to add to the squad and bring in more qty players. Which i hear are coming.
We just taking each game as it comes and enjoying the football. We have a few great players that do make playing for TFC great.
But season a long one so we just taking our time .............................................

Course it will be a tough game on sat. Every game is tough, and every team in the division is capable of a result on their day. We arent counting our chickens is what guesswhosback is saying weeman.
A lot of new faces in the side, and although we have had the rub of the green recently there are a lot of good teams still to play.
Braid are a good enough side, and we have always had close games at their place. I dont think we have ever came away with the 3 points from this fixture, which is credit to them.
There are still a few guys to come into the side, excluding me. So the competition for places is good.
Been impressed with the back 4 so far this season. Though AK's injury from sat may force changes this week.
It should be a tight enough game, maybe too close to call.

One of them days Rich. Braid def had the rub of the green. We had enough chances, esp in the seond half, but we were firing blanks. Some very good players in the Braid side, def higher level, some bad ones too but take nothing away from them, they deserved the win. It was def a reality check for anyone that was getting carried away with themselves. Can honestly say there wasnt one person that had a good game. Not often that happens in any team. We went a goal down early on, against the run of play may I add, and never recovered from it. No excuses, just really poor. Be interesting to see how we bounce back from it

I would have to say we had a little more than the rub of the green as the scoreline would suggest! :-) You just got us at the wrong time pugford when we are coming into a bit of form.

Cheers selfo, no. 9 was the only non regular in the team, and he was only playing as he had no game in the afternoon (i think). Apart from that, the other 10 are squad regulars week in, week out. Having said that, I think it's a litle harsh saying he was the only one who played well. Our no. 10 in midfield played well, as did no. 8 up front (hat-trick) and our two wingers I thought played very well.
Anyway, good luck for the rest of the season.

I assume Mark Surgenor was the no 9?
