Bremner...lets be serious... full back isnt exactly the hardest position to play in the world.... ;D wot number did Pepper Gourley wear any way??? You're bound to know.... no doubt he skipped past you that many times that you got a good look at the back of his shirt. You'd think with your arse so close to the ground you would have a faster turning circle.....hahaha

Just for the record as the subject seems to be drifting a bit. The first bsml team to get to the junior shield final was
1. Herbie Linton 2. Stephen Irvine 3. Gerard McAuley 4. Dessie Jackson 5. Jim Doran 6. Raymond Murray 7. Alan Porter 8. Fergus Wallace 9. Ronnie Verner 10. Tony Jennings 11. Seamus Duffy
Subs
12. Paul Taggart 13. Norman Hanna
Maghera (From Co Down) beat Rathenraw 2-1. That Maghera team won both the shield and the junior cup that year. A very very good team.
Also want to add that Castletown were the first to win the shield from the league. Tony Jennings played in that team also. That Castletown team were also a very good team.

I remember that Castletown team and we beat them 1-4 away in the league that year with a certain Willie Mckittrick scoring 3 on his debut for us, though they managed to beat us 1-2 at home later on and thus go on to lift the League title as well as the Junior Shield. Skyblues and Castletown sum good battles down the years.

theone: have the balls to use your real name.as for that rathenraw side the following year 5 went into the irish league 'B' divison and 6 went into the enkalon side which nearly cleaned up,which only really left myself,a.porter and n.hanna.but the following year we unearthed lavo, mickey wilson, flea, victor boyd, denny clark, leo, desie mcauley, jimmy wasson and geeks mccauley not a bad bunch.and by the way we had our first shield in 1985, but i do not think we were first.

Cheers Steeks nice to catch up with you again (not that it was ever a problem when I was playing against you) Taking into account I did not see a lot of you when I was skinning you I just was wondering were you still playing

Back off Weeman Bremner always cracked under pressure and with two of us at him, he will crack up again.
