If you were in London for a while is it fair for you to have a real opinion on the matter???

Of course, i was brought up on the football of demesne, and have followed their progress through the frankie grimes website, and more recently the bsml forums. I know from my cousin there have been changes in the managerial structure of the club. For better or for worse, maybe the poll will tell??

not many responses so far anyway!!
you've obviously strong links with demesne's do you think they'll get promoted this year?

I would like to see it. Its always the same story with demesne, they tend to struggle when it comes to the crunch. I used to play for them about 15 years ago, Arthur was manager even then, and it was the same old the baas!!! What bout yourselves legend??

Not many of the demesne boys have computers, thats why the response is low btwthebaas. Most of them like the new nintendo one!!!

Playoffs are a long shot now. The maths of it is complicated and lookls unlikely we will get promoted. However we still have 9 league games left, 8 of which are at home, so you never know. Still in 2 cups so success seems more likely in that at the minute. I fear too many players have given up hope on the playoffs unfortunately and its hard to change people's mentality!

alright mr killnockey wotaboutye? thats quite a controversial poll youve started wee man are you trying to make some grown men cry? this is what im sayin you know, its like this arthur gave me my first break back in the glory years, sure he might of been a bit odd back then and the most of his half time team talks and rants seemed to be just harsh un-constructive comments, but maybe the man had something as the players he's put out there are among the finest of our wee bourough and the youth comming through are holding there own among the hackers of Div. 3. then i would be justified in saying that YES! Arthur J McClean is and will always be the best there is the best there was and the best there ever will be, amen.

Rocky. you could just be the answer to A Mac's prayers, if i remember correctly you werent all that bad outfield either, and if you are lookin for a team then look no further than your old kickin ground, picture yourself as an ageing Gazza, a playmaker from the middle of the park, rallying the young bucks round you, takin them under your wing to teach them a wee bit of that kilnocky flare! well what about it? I would revel at the opportunity to cross over that white with you for the last couple of innings, come down to training on tues or thurs and well talk about the glory years and catch up on your london tales.

Well, it looks like Arfur 'yip-ee-kay-ay' McClean has been Demesne all time greatest manager, in the eyes of the fans anyway. And the fans are most important, apart from the actual football itself, without which there would be no matches cos theyd have nothing to play with. But this brings us to another crucial question the shandy bass, who will be demesne next manager?? Steven Mellon's name has been bandied about by pundits and punters alike, but who do the people want??? In the words of Big Brother ' It is up to you to decide!!!!'

Well bigman the baas, definately giving it some Lexie Scott. Ive been approached by a couple of other third division get rich quick schemes, but just dont want to commit at the catch-a-rat-and-skin-it. But well definately have to catch up big man the baas, do a bit of reminiscing over old ecto-plasmic slimes the baas.

This has to be the silliest but the best topic ever. Arthur Mcclean is a legend. The shell suit prince.

the only man in history able to pull off the old shell suit, shirt and tie combo, he should be reconised for that alone, and the hi-tech are the icing on the cake! stevie mellon has been known to come out with the odd frigg sake every now and again so he'd fit in to the roll nicely.

Arthur certainly has tried to set the trend of the shell suit, shirt & tie. Its just the rest of the world has'nr caught on yet.
I wont say too much on the Arthur topic aswe often dont seem to see eye to eye very much on the game, but I will say he is a genuine football man, and puts alot of time and effort into the game.

Arthurs been keeping it real in the bsml for years. Arthurs trousers and shirt and tie are all sown together and he has four of the same outfit, so he just pulls them on in the morning before slipping into his trainers the shandy. Keeping it mean with his gangsta lean. Ali-G innit was a popular figure no doubt and Squintin Quentin has a huge pedigree in the game, but AJ runs these streets. Y'all know that. Wakehurst Aftermath, Demesne Shady.... Athur Mathers up in this...

Aurthur has to be in contention coz of his dveotion to the club but if we are looking for the manager who had the team playing at their best and attracting good players to the club then ali g has to win this poll!!

Good to see the votes are still coming, its Ali-G innit catching Artie Bucco on the popularity stakes. But what about future managers, anyone have any ideas?? Word from the great man is that he has an attractive job offer on the table for next year, but hes keeping his cards close to his string vest. Or will demesne die with Yip-ee-kay-ay??

Arthur 'Pee Wee' McClean hasn't a f**kin clue about managing a football team. My vote has to go to Quentin as he knows alot about the game. He has been across the water playin and also with Glentoran and Ballymena even got a few caps for his Country.
