If they have withdrawn, technically they haven't been found guilty of anything, and therefore can't be banned.......maybe.... I think.....possibly

Think this is the first compliment u have ever paid me I Think the three year ban is at the co Antrim discretion and can be waived if they think it was an genuine mistake!! I know Carniny didn't get banned for three years from the junior cup after withdrawing for similar reasons last year!!

GUTTED!!!!
Don't know wat to say really, but the when rumours were going about we had an in house check and after we heard the STUPID rule the player himself brought this forward. Then we realised we had to pull out, dob would never let the team be labelled cheats. The right decision but 1 me personally i don't think I'd of made but that just tells you want sort of man Dobbie is!!
And ronny we are as gutted as you we don't fear ANY club!

This shows that 2 things
- there are too many stupid rules in junior football - there are people with too much time on their hands to be checking who has played for who, where and when

Always gonna be mud threw and things upcasted so maybe Dobbie and the club were of the same thinking. I really do think the IFA or the powers that be need to look at these rules again and maybe update them as every year in these competitions teams have been thrown out or withdraw.

Seems to be alot of contradictions in them. The rule regarding intermediate players is outdated imo, when they brought in the one club rule surely it shouldnt matter anymore?

I agree with Lenny (the one on here, not that other c**t)
If your club is able to attract good players whether they be of intermediate or senior standard then they should be allowed to play, provided they are signed before xmas.
This intermediate final in the last 5 years is a load of balls.

but what gets me is, they just get to the final then decide "aww well check the rules here now " the last time there was a doubt about one of ther players being eligible they spent over £1000 on solictors to stay in it, now they get to a final an pull out?? it just doesnt add up!! You think this up all by yourself Ronny? Wee Jasey McKay posted something very similar on FB ;D Be original dude
